In December last year, automotive sites all over the world suddenly came with V12 Vantage Roadster news, most sites pointing to GTspirit.com as the source.
GTSpirit.com claims that mr. Aston Martin himself, dr. Ulrich Bez, confirmed to “one of their representatives” that the V12 Vantage Roadster would be introduced in 2012. The convertible edition of the V12 Vantage would feature a 6.0 liter V12 engine delivering 510 bhp, 570 Nm of torque and a top speed of 305 km/h, similar to it’s coupe brother.
At the time, GTSpirit.com also suspected that the official introduction might happen at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show. However, with the Geneva event in the past, we know that introduction didn’t happen.
But 2012 is not over yet, so a 2012 introduction can still happen. Let’s hope it will!
